1g vs 2g Stock Side Intercooler

Just picked up a 95 GST. Fuel System is Stock, but has a 14b, and Upgrade Upper and Lower Intercooler Pipe, with 1g BOV with Rus Mod done to it with Stock Downpipe/Cat and OBX Cat back.

Ive heard 1g Stock Intercooler is bigger, Should I swap 1g Intercoooler or Stick with 2g?
I'm trying to extract as much power from this stock car.

Also should I rewire fuel pump?

Tommy-

It won't make much of a difference if you switch from a 2G SMIC to a 1G SMIC. It really won't. Do yourself a favor and find a used MKIV Supra SMIC.

And yes, you should rewire the FP. Follow these instructions. They're fairly good.

Honestly, neither the 1g or 2g SMIC flows very well. If you're going to bother to upgrade, might as well go for the Supra SMIC.

I definitely recommend you rewire the stock fuel pump. If you really want to push the 14b it will be needed.

A 1G SMIC will not bolt onto a 2G.
