alright .. this question gets asked alot by people .. and ive searched as well. . but most people recommend a turbo that uses a mitsu housing . ie fp3052 fp3065 red. ect.

i want to make 450whp on pump gas to be driven everyday ...and for the weekends to turn up the boost to make about 550whp on some race gas .

now i dont want to be spooling up by 4.5k -5k

i want something that has full spool by 4k

im running a t3 manifold and am running an sc63 but its on its way out ... now the lag is quite retarded to be used on an everyday driver.

i was leaning towards a gt35r or a gt3076r.

which one would better suite me for the amount of power that i want to make on pump?

some people on here say that an sc61 would be great as well... and it is a step smaller than the turbo im running. but im confused.

( i have all the supporting mods needed . not sure if its showing up in my profile)
just in case.. 2.3 stroker fully built 1000cc inj. dsmlink 272's ect..

Anyone of the FP30 series turbos, or a GT30r variant....A GT35r would help you come closer to your goal, but the lag would be a tad worse...

It depends on what ar you're planning to run... Usually the larger hotside ar will yield more hp due to less heat in the exaust housing....dont get me wrong a big compressor wheel will make power but now that i have a bolt on turbo...im wishing i would have just went with a garret t3 or full t4....it sucks on pump :<

35R or T67. These aren't as laggy as you would think. There are things you can do with dsmlink that will spool these monsters. We made 445hp coming in on a street tune with a SCM6152 on ludachris' car at 21psi. We detuned him 425.

Another friend 2 weeks ago on the same dyno made 410awhp at 24psi with a FP3052. This was a safe tune that he could go crazy every day.

Anything 65lbs/min or larger. Leaves ample opportunites beyond pump gas.

what kinda dyno are you considering. because i'm used to a mustang or dyno dynamics, and 450whp is unheard of on pump gas

This is true. I use a dynojet. They shop is very good to us and let us run the dyno when we are there. They just strap it down, sometimes we do, and leave us be and go about business as normal. There is a mustang, superflow, dyno dynamics and dynapack locally. I think we have something like 10 awd dynos within 50 miles.

thats weird because ive see 500whp on pump plenty of times .. on dynojet and mustang dynos.

meth is your friend if you want to make nice numbers on pump.

my bro was trapping 122mph in his srt-4 on pump gas with 100% meth injection on a gt3076r @ 28psi (stock motor too)
