Question about this turbo on my DSM

I have a Super 60 Turbonetics t3/t4 I got from a local guy. I was going to use it on my 280Z. Anyways, it has the Ford 5 bolt pattern and is setup to be internally wastegated. However, it DOESN'T have the part that bolts to the hot side that houses the wastegate flapper, so for now it just has the hole right there. For a while I was flipping out thinking I was going to have to have a custom o2 housing made since all I ever see has the MHI pattern. Then I actually thought about it, and was like, ok well I have to have a custom downpipe made, they'll just get the 5 bolt flange and make it according to that and have an o2 bung welded in...o2 housing/downpipe problem solved. However, since it's set up to be an internally gated turbo, how am I going to run this on my car? Am I to find a good deal on a tubular manifold that has a wastegate flange on it, and just get the flange on the downpipe that seals that hole off, or do I have to go another approach?

Also, Super 60, .48 hotside, what sorta hp numbers can you guys guesstimate the car would be able to make if all tuning and other bolt ons were in line?

First off, I dont think the super 60 is going to make much, if any, more power than a b16g. The compressor wheel is tiny and will run out of steam quickly. The .48a/r turbine is also a little smaller than what I would want to run on the 4g63. This turbo is not going to be high boost or high rpm friendly at all. If it is a dd and you plan to run 12-16psi, it will work fine but a 16g variant will work better.

As for the wg, you have a couple of options. If you want to run an internal wg, you can get the wg housing from a mustang svo, t-bird turbo coupe, or from a saab and it will bolt onto the turbine housing. This part bolts to the 5 bolt housing and houses the wg flapper. Going this route is the easiest but hurts exhaust flow even more.

Your next option would be to get a 5 bolt flange, fab the o2 housing, and then drill a hole and mount an external wg on the housing in a similar fashion than is done on the dsm style flange.

You third option would be to mount an external wg on the manifold and just keep the wg hole blocked off with the o2 flange.

Thanks for the help. So I guess in keeping in mind I have to drop big bucks on a t3 flanged manifold, I'd be better off spending that money on an Evo 16g, since I have a SBR cast mani laying around I purchased a while back. Then it'd be easier to just keep the car relatively stock, using the stock w/g system on the turbo and just using a DSM o2 housing.

Oh well, the t3/t4 was just a thought.

You could always purchase a bullseye bolt on turbine housing to make it work work with your manifold, o2 housing, and have it internally gated as well. I just dont feel that the gain is worth the money that will be spent.
