Im looking to buy this Small 16g turbo and the seller informed me there is a small crack on the exhaust housing. I attatched a picture that he sent of it (although the quality is bad). Do you guys think this will effect the turbo?

All of them will crack eventually. I bet about any used 14b you buy would have them too. If it isn't all the way through though, I wouldn't worry about it.

Hairline cracks in the housing are normal. id be more worried if there was a crack around the wastegate flapper door that could affect boost control.

Yep they all crack, my old Evo 3 had a small crack after 5k miles. As long as it isn't all the way through or near the wastegate as stated it will be fine.

yah both my 14b and evo have cracks and they work fine
