Ok so I was driving along tonight coming up a good sized hill, boosting normally and everything was fine, no prior notice. I felt these gradual steps of power loss, until it got to the point where it wouldnt even touch -1 in vac. I crept home.....

No IC pipes are open or broken, all clamps are still tight, there is no oil leaking from what I can tell, and smoke Im unsure about, since it was dark. But ZERO boost, its a strange one but I think shes shot........Whats the deal with my turbo?

When you get a chance take your intake tube off, see if she spins. Also check for shaft play. That would tell you quickly if its shot or not.

Pull the intake tube off and see if the wheel spins freely or has shaft play.

If it spins freely and has no shaft play, try doing a boost leak test with soapy water to make sure your not leaking all of your boost.

yeah I was gonna do that tonight but stuff was way too hot ,and it was dark. So im gonna be giving it the full test tomorrow. Im pretty much counting on it being shot though, just a feeling.

If it spins freely and has no shaft play but still doesn't create boost, check the exhaust turbine wheel and make sure its still their. I had the exhaust wheel grenade on me so the intake side had no shaft play but the car wouldnt create boost. Needless to say it was obvious when the shaft was sheered on the exhaust side and killed my o2 sensor to boot.

Yep, comp wheel is seized right up.

I guess Im adding a turbo install along with my axle seal this weekend. Big fun
 Im sorry man, that sucks big time. But you can now upgrade.LOL

Before you put on a new turbo buy a new oil feed or check the stock line to see if it is clogged. Ive seen people with a almost identical problem put on a new turbo and it went to hell very quickly due to a partially clogged line. That does suck though about the turbo.
