i am not sure how long it will be until it's installed however. i am currently shopping for a jdm 4g63 to swap in while i rebuild my current motor.

what do you think?

buy pipes and install with low compression (125,127,125,150) motor with the 14b? save for the used motor and install with new clutch, flywheel, injectors, turbo upgrade (evo 16g) and GM MAF w / trans?

thanks for lookin.:thumb: :talon:

You mean JRC... JR is someone else. Nice choice though!

I would say do something with the motor first. You don't need to give it any reason to die on you.

LOL, it seems i have exceeded my transfer size for the day at yahoo.com. the pics were hosted on there. now my whole site is locked. im switching to photobucket, they should be up in a sec...

$250?!!
:notgood:

the reasons i went with JRC were because of the amount of good feedback the company has gotten, and the value.

why does the pipings have to cost so much? after buying the piping and the core itself i could of just bought a complete kit for just a little more...

Are we supposed to just give it away, i mean come on guys. Factor in throttle body flange, BOV flange, 3 bends for the upper pipe, 2 bends and some straight for the lower pipe, couplers, clamps, gaskets, bolts, powdercoating, welding, bead rolling, and shipping, how is $250 expensive?

I agree. People are getting very cheap. I spent 400 on my core and I have a friend weld up the pipes. I spent 80 on pipes and 70 on couplers. The only reason I decided to not buy pre made piping is because I was going with a different size than what they sell.

Seriously people a shops time isn't free. You get good pipes that flow good and that have been tested on customer cars. If you can do your own fine but dont whine about how expensive a good product is. :toobad:

On my Audi 10VT, i spent 100. I have more piping an couplings that i can handle and t-bolt clamps to boot. But, i'm welding up my own piping.

Also, 250 isnt expensive. I mean, they already done all the hard work for you, c'mon.

I'd even pay a little extra to have the beads rolled at the end of the pipes.

Good luck.

PSI2HI please forgive me.

ive been doing research the past few days, shopping around, looking at both piping kits, and DIY bends. the product you offer is deffinatly :thumb: .

when i first saw your price, i was sort of comparing it to purchasing seperate DIY pipes. you're right; adding powdercoating, couplers, clamps, and a flange is worth it. all the work that is done, and also comparing your product to other FMIC pipe kits out there is the reason for my change of opinion. once again i appoligize.

:thumb: :talon:

ps, still shopping..... LOL

Yes we send exactly what is pictured and it is all made in house. It's the same pipe kit we use on both our street and race core FMIC kits. I have sold many of just these pipes kits and i kept wondering what people were doing w/ them until i found this thread. No one has ever mentioned they didn't fit whatever FMIC they were using them on as there really is only 1 way you can route a backdoor short route setup.

i used the dejontools intercooler pipes and they worked out fine. just giving you other options, although the pipes are like 180+115, just putting it out there though.
