i have a 98 gsx and i am having a boost problem....i know i have a leak at the j-pipe/turbo seal but what the problem is is that i have a mbc turned all the way down. when i go wot at 2-3k rpms i get 9-10 psi and stay their to readline but when i go wot at 4-5k rpm my boost gauge reads 14-16 psi that is not too much but if i turn my boost up to hold 15 psi i think wot @ 4-5k rpm will boots to 20 or so psi and that will hurt me. i have all my mods on profile but to deal with this problem ill post the important ones b16g 3" art catback turbo xs mbc auto meter boost gauge. also the waist gate sould be set for 14 psi i think so how can it only boost 9-10 psi.thanks! the way i have called a few shops around here and got no info also slow boy racing did have any idea eather.

Fix the boost leaks first, almost impossible to troubleshoot the mbc, actuator and turbo without eliminating the leaks first.
