Hey guys/girls

I'm trying to figure out what AFPR is easy to install and to work with?? I'll be getting my 6bolt motor build and getting swap done. I was thinking about going with t28 but i changed my mind to go with evo III turbo. So as of fuel i will be getting 255lph hp fuel pump [rewired too], thinking about going with 550 or 660 cc injector. I did alot of research and i get different opinion on fuel pump and injectors. But while i was doing research i found out that if i go with 255lph and 660cc injector that i will need AFPR so i'm trying to figured out which one i should get??

Thank you

This is the one that I run. :thumb:

A 190 is more than enough to power an EVO III. Why not get the 190 and forget about the AFPR altogether? It's an easier tuning solution and it removes an unnecessary link from the tuning chain that you don't need.

Hope that helps,

Andy

yeah i saw this one, was it easy to install? also how much did everything cost you?

anybody using different item?

If you're going to do it might as well do it right the first time, go with the aeromotive fpr. Most guys use these, including myself & they work great. The reg will cost you ~$135 & most dsm shops charge ~100 for the install kit. Fairly easly to do, if you have some common sense & some mechanical knowledge :thumb: .

shouldn't take more then an hour to install as long as you get the install kit. Don't forget to get the install kit as you really can't install the fpr without it. The aeromotive is about the best one money can buy too. And I say why not get the 255 you never know if you might need it :thumb:

I bought one of the $35 fpr's from ebay. It's been a little over 7 months with no problems now.

I'd recommend it for those on a budget, but if you could get better than do so.

Just make sure everything is secure and there are NO LEAKS.

Yeah you are right 190lph is probaly enough to support EVO III, I get really different opinion on the fuel pump some say you wont be able to max it out and some says they could. Also why i decide to go with 255 with afpr is because if i do decide to upgrade the turbo later on i will need more than 190 and i will need afpr so why not just upgrade it to 255lph and afpr since i will probaly upgrade turbo later on you know?

I totally agree with you on this one. I mean i would try to install it on my own but the thing is that my car will be at the shop getting the swap done. So most likely they will be doing rewiring the fuel pump, upgrade to 255lph and installing afpr.

yeah i know i will need it since i know im going to upgrade the turbo later on when i get the money and when i max out the turbo.

Tell you the truth i would trust some of the stuff on ebay but not most of them too. Unless i know i could trust the product so that's out of the question.

This is the one I use with a Jegs liquid-filled gauge on top and 255 Walbro unwired.

Snaps right into fuel rail. I chose not to skimp when it came to fuel parts so it costs a little more but no kit is required. :thumb:

Yes i saw this kit. How you like it? I mean i kno it bolts right on but i dont know much ppls use it...

Thank you guys for sharing your info. :thumb:

I have this kit aslo from importevolution its an aeromotive kit took about 30min to install and my car runs 100% better. my cousin has the same kit on his car and his runs great also. i highly recomend this kit. especially since it comes with vehicle specific instructions. I could not find a kit that comes with install instructions.
