Ok before i get anyone that gets on here and says to read something i looked through the manuals and couldnt find anything that made some sense. heres the deal, i just recently bought a used star kit for a 420a however the oil send line and oil feed lines were not included, no biggy i can make some. the question i have is when you look at the turbo the t3/t4 there are 3 connections 2 of those are for the oil feed and oil return and the other one is for the boost??? i was wondering which ones are which and if anyone knows any common place to get braded lines for them or what other tubbing would work for example viynl tubbing. if anyone has a turbo system from star if they dont mind taking tons of pictures of the turbo in different positions and everything else in tehre engine bay that would be awesome. any help is appreciated

you are going to make oil feed/drain lines but you dont even know which is what on the turbo? Hmm...

The top of the catridge should have a NPT thread, this is where the feed line goes. Under it should have the drain line, the drain line/fittings go here. I have no idea what other hookup you are talking about? Im guessing for the waste gate? This is a vac/boost source. Connect it to a vac/boost source on your intake manifold, or the same line the BOV goes to

the 3rd port you speak of should be on the intake side of the turbo (The aluminum side) its just a hole thats been drilled out and taped correct? if so that is a boost source, it will not work as a vacuum source, thats how i have mine hooked up Ive been meaning to change it...LOL

anyhow connect that line to your wastegate....thats where i hooked it up to, it was easier to hide the vacuum line. aside from that burnett03 has the rest correct...

you can find oil send and return lines at eather of the following

slowboyracing.com

Horsepowerfreaks.com

oh and most of this install is not going to be covered in your manual, as it will help as a reference from time to time it will not help as much as you hope, your dealing with alot of aftermarket parts that are compiled by individuals and sold. when people on here are talking about searching they usually mean the search button on the top of the forum....there are countless posts on here that cover the installation of the star, Hahn and self made kits. use of you instructions, the web, and a good manual would help too.
i just installed a star kit myself about 3 months ago so i know the routine your going thru.

thanks steel, i tried doing some searching on through the post and thats were i didnt find it and when i decided to post about it.but im glad someone (2 people) gave me some help
