OKay guys serioulsy considering this turbo because my b16g ain't doing it and i can;t afford the 20g

How streetable is this turbo? can anyone comment on how spool up is and by what rpm??

Also, what do you guys recommend as far as the oil return/supply, should i get their kit or stay factory??

Do the agp trubos have the same issues as PTE??? I don't want to install it and have it crap out 1k later. I've heard that the pte's are dying because the oil pressure when feed from the housing , not the head, is too high  Does AGP have the same issues?

Thanks for the space :thumb:

I just bought the 49er form Agp, I haven't heard of any issues with these turbos.
with the exception of one guy on this board that had multipule AGP failures consecutive, which lead me to believe that it my have been and "owner" problem and nothing to do with the AGP product.

the 49 should hit full spool by 3800 rpm or so. but you have to dial in the wastegate actuator if your running it internal gated as i am.

AGP runs the actuator ass backward from everybody else, they claim its because of the many options of clocking the compressor housing. It faces toward the power steering pump.

the Turbonetics compressor housing looks slightly smaller than the PTE and slowboy turbos.
as to not interfear with the water pipe. but I'm not 100% on that (its still in the box).

Ive heard of no oiling issues with these turbos. and AGP told me to run a -4 oil line.
so well see what happens in the next little while after its installed!

I'm keeping all my 16G stuff just in case :(

I have an RS49T on a GVR4.

Didn't need to dent the waterpipe.

Has lasted several thousand miles already with daily 20+psi beatings.

Oiled from filter housing with inline FP -4 filter (cleaned every oil change).

I love the backwards WG actuator, allows easy compressor housing reclocking on a GVR4.
