Ok guys what size FMIC sould I go with? What size would be better?
24 X 12 X 3 or 28.25 X 7.5 X 2.5?

At 1020 Cfm.
Would 12 inches high make me over heat?

Do you plan to continue running the 16g or do you plan to go larger? The 12" core might cause a cooling problem but not because it is 12". It woud be from the core only being 24" wide so the end tanks will block some of the air to the radiator. I personally wouldnt run a core 2.5" thick either because that might limit airflow possibilities if you decide to go to a larger turbo. Just for info, I run a core size of 26"x7.5"x3" with a 60-1 amd am able to run 22-23 psi on pump gas with zero knock. I did have to trim my bumper cover a little, support alot, fluidyne radiator, 180* thermostat, and a single Mercedes benz pusher fan in front of the radiator and coolant temp is at 196* all the time. I did have 2 puller fans before under the hood and I couldnt keep temps below 206*. Here are a couple of pics to show what I am talking about.

In pic #2, you can barely see the top of the fan shroud. It is between the upper radiator supprt and the bumper support bracket right in front of the radiator hose.
