Hey everyone i live in arizona and had a few questions about the 50 trim turbo..... on SBR's site they say this turbo does really well on pump gas......... out here the best gas we have is 91oct.. i have a 99 gsx and want 350-400whp i've been comparing this turbo to the E316G and it seems to get those #'s on the E316G you need race gas....... should i go with the 50trim or E316G???

Justin

p.s have alot of supporting mods but i don't have injectors, SAFC is on the way, also saving for FMIC....thanks :dsm: :talon:

trash the safc.. get dsmlink. 50 trim will get you to wehre you want. All we have is 91 here as well, have guys running 22 psi. Most I ever ran was 18. 50 trim, dsmlink, 650 cc injectors ( which I have for sale ) and you should be good to go .

edit: you may also need a fuel pump and afpr if you dont already have it, dont see it in your profile.

your gonna have a tough time with controlling the fuel on 650's. Thats the max they can usually control. Should be interesting if you keep it tho

so you guys are saying i should be ok running the 50trim WITH 650cc injectors??? and thats well within the range of the SAFC??? I don't want to spend the money on the SAFC if it won't work with 650's.............

Thanx for all the feedback

it will work. i ran 720's on a safc, but the dsmlink is much more accurate for tuning.its worth the money, because when it comes down to it, throwin a bunch of parts in a car isnt gonna make it as fast as it were if those parts are well tuned.

Thats the Exact setup I run and it's fine.

alright so i probabaly go with the SAFC and the 650 injectors......... on a side note would anyone know good start up seting on the SAFC for the T-25??? I know i need a logger but anyone have "safe" settings i could start with?????

i just want to get a couple more ponies out of my T-25 before it gets rebuilt into a T-28 for my g/f's Talon AWD...

One last thing before i forget...........CRANKWALK??? I've been reading and reading on here about it and am i right by saying if a stay below 400whp i will be okay????? or will no matter what i do i will get CW??? I also read that its preventable........how hard would it be to change the bearings if i noticed them out of spec??????

Dont worry about crankwalk, it may or may not happen, just wait and see.
Good ways to prevent it:

-dont get an act 2600
-dont sit at the light with your clutch pushed in like ALOT of people do
-disconnect your clutch switch so you dont have to push the clutch to start the car with no oil pressure.
