Hey guys, ive been away for a while after selling my car for college  but Im back and ive got a quick question I need help with. Im working on my "project" 91 talon AWD and im trying to put the stock turbo and all back on the car(it didnt have any on at first) and I dont kno if I put the manifold on and then the turbo or if I put the turbo on the manifold and then put both on to the car. please help here so I can try to get this car running!! thanks and good job on the small face lift around here :rocks:

With Radiator OUT - I prefer to install the Turbo Assembly first - Then Install Manifold, Torque Exhaust Manifold to Block - then Torque the 4 Studs / Bolts to Turbo Assembly last. Use new gaskets, Studs & Self Locking Nuts as needed - Use Anti Seize on ALL Fasteners.

sweet thanx guys ive got it all in there but i need the 3 long bolts that hold the turbo to the manifold...where besides dealer can I find them? im close to seeing if this thing will run hehe :sneaky:

Hey bro,

Don't wanna hijack your thread, but she's doing very well - performance wise, that is. :thumb: Getting her to pass the NOx portion of Ohio E-Check, well, that's another story, LOL! ROFL

I guess I'm of the camp that thinks the EGT isn't as vital as the other camp makes it out to be. Not to say that I don't think it merits a place in the overall scheme of things nor that it doesn't deserve a place on the dash - just that I'd rather take it more lightheartedly than others, and know that it comes, as with any tuning tool, it's own set of limitations.

:)

Once I reclaim my POS digicam from my friend, I'll definitely get some pix of her interior up. Just looking for a headliner and saving up some pennies for a true-CF trim kit (will use selectively while keeping your original white-accent scheme).

thats cool id like to see...but watch ur EGT's especially while tuning....anything over like 1750 will melt those turbines :nono: just keep me posted i miss her i WANT HER BACK

If I get her that hot, I should get her taken away from me - and she'll then have to go straight back to you! :thumb:

No worries, my friend. Like I said to you during our face-to-face, I'm really not planning to go much further in terms of go-juice for her. She's at a fun level that I am more than happy with, and as a daily-driver, I'm hoping that she's going to be pretty reliable and durable at this level. Don't get me wrong - I'd love to upgrade her a bit more and tune her to the next level as well, but as a true daily-driver, I just don't know that I truly "need" a bigger turbo and what that must come with in terms of supporting mods and tune, and the potentially decreased driveability and potential durability/reliability problems.

Rest assured that I'll baby her as much as you have. :thumb: Keep rockin', brotha.
