I just wrecked my '97 GS-T. The stock I/C was torn back & now I get to replace it! I want to future proof, so I'm looking at an AMS FMIC. Right now I have a T-25 turbo. I understand this I/C is made to mount up to a T3/4. Don't have the scratch for all the supporting mods right now, so I want to either mount it up to the T-25 or maybe it would be smarter to get an EVO III 16G. Anyone mount the AMS I/C to either of these turbos?

The ams front mount is a very nice piece and I would recommend it. It would bolt up to both the t25 or the 16g with either a custom J pipe or modifying the lower pipe a little bit to make it work with the t25. With a t25 you will most likely actually lose a little power by adding that fmic, however once you upgrade turbos you'll be more than happy.

Any idea on the difference in measure of work between installing it to the T-25 or an EVO III 16G??? In other words, would it be any more of a PITA to hook it up to the T-25 vs the 16G. Right now funds are tight, so the only reason I was considering upgrading to the 16G was that it might be a lot easier to acheive fitment, thereby saving labor costs.
