what do you guys think about these turbos?

Check the huge T04b v-trim thread--you can't miss it with a simple search for Bullseye Turbos. If I were shooting for 400whp on pump, I would be considering a 60 trim.

60 trims are known to surge, especially with too small of a hot side. 50 trim is STILL one of the best pump gas comp. wheels on the market. As for the 400whp on a T04B, the only #'s we have seen from those 2 turbos, are both about 110whp short. So, I would venture to say that neither one of those is a good option.

A 50 trim is OK for pump gas, but bigger is beter. A 56-Trim/SC61 blows a 50-trim out of the water. How about a T3/T67 even? There are honda guys making over 500 WHP on pump gas with it, so why not toss it on a DSM.

Most people that are looking for a pump gas turbo are more concerned about the turbo's street manners. They might not want to wait until 5k rpm for it to spool up. Also, if you are going to take full advantage of what a 56 trim or a T67 has to offer, a built bottom end is a must. Pump gas achievers usually don't have built bottom ends. A 50 trim and a SCM-61 are in 2 totally diff. leagues. However, I've still gone faster on pump gas with my 50 trim than 90% of all SCM-61 owners will ever go. For a daily driven, quick spooling turbo, an FP Green or other 50 trim variant is the way to go.

Having driven an SC61 car and my 50 trim car back to back, the spool difference isn't anything to write home about, 200-400 RPM's at best.

Any significant #'s to report on either setup?

They're both fast, how does that sound ROFL

Seriously though, tracks should be opening in april, so we'll have some times then. My car is a 1GB, his is a 97, so it's a little bit heavier. 20 psi vs. 20 psi his car feels significantly faster, and puts several car lengths on me.

I think it's worth mentioning that I'm not running the G4CS in my profile yet, I'm just on the lowly stock 104 thousand KM motor, PTE 50-trim on the stock manifold, obx FMIC, and the AEM.
