Mississauga,
Allright, I've recently installed DSMLink finally so I can now tell what the hell is going on with my car.
I need some of your advice on further tuning. If any of these questions seem idiotic or ignorant please forward your flames elsewhere, thank you.
I've got a '97 GSX
Anyways I've got the following mods: 18g, 3" turbo-back, 1st gen head+cam+intake, vpc, spearco fmic, walbro 255, rc 550cc, and ofcourse DSMLink..
Anyways, i`m running at about 16-17psi right now, the car is really fast and i`m totally satisfied with it, my EGT's DO NOT go over 710c no matter how hard I pull, I would like to ask what is the next step considering I have knock at this point still..
What would be the wise choice, start leaning out or advance timing on the car? Which is safest to do? Any comments and opinions would be great, thanks..
p.s.: My timing is already advanced from about +7 at start (500-1000rpm) and it drops to about 0deg at 4,000rpm (just for reference)
