maft settings sticky??????????????

What do you mean, settings for the MAFT?

Those knobs adjust your fuel. One way is leaner, one way is richer. There you go, have fun.

Ahh, I figured it out! He wants a sticky thread (always on top) to be created about MAFT settings. Kinda pointless because its easy to tune with a MAFT and everyones car is different, yadda yadda. Just make sure your MID is nice and rich...the rest is cake.

something like this would be useful if people could follow a form.

ie:
dial settings. left to right. keep it simple.

3 or 3.5" MAS
turbo specs
injector specs w/ base FP
DT or BT set-up
AFC settings if any

possibly other pertinent info. no freaking questions.

but i feel the nature of the beast will prevent people from following the form and this will ultimately turn into another "HOLLA" thread.

it might work. it might not.

There is absolutely no reason to "get it going." Looking at someone else's settings does you no good, because your car WILL be different. Just tune your car from scratch.

If it can help to get someone started why not do it.
safc's are different for everones car but everyone tries the settings.

It won't hurt to have other's settings for additional reference.

I'm running a blow through setup:
650cc injectors @ 42 psi
Idle -> 0
Mid -> 0
WOT ->0
HKS Super-AFR -> zeroed out

Small 16G
Frontmount IC

would it be a good idea to keep the afc hooked up with my maft? can it be done? i unhooked it and it seems to run a hell of a lot better.
also would an Eprom ecu effect the computer learning the RPM signal?
 
Um, yes you can keep the SAFC hooked up with the translator. If disabling it made the run run betterm then something was wrong with the SAFC in the first place.

EPROM ecu has nothing to do with learning anything. What do you mean, learning the rpm signal?

kyle, the MAFT isnt learning the RPM signal, ive tried it on every wire possible and i thought maybe it had something to do with the EPROM Ecu.

so i can keep the safc hooked up like normal. sweeet.
