I have an SJ-22 and have been having troubles with it as well.

The first cable I ordered from them worked intermittently, as I think there was a loose wire (talked to a tech who said they have to modify the cables to get them to work with the Clie). Eventually it just wouldn't work at all. He said that was the first cable they had ever made for the brand new SJ-22.

They sent me a replacement, and it worked perfectly. Instant connection. I didn't log anything for over a month, and now I can't get it to work again.

I'm going to get in touch with them again, and hopefully get it all figured out. I'd suggest you contact them, and they might send you another cable. Maybe they've gotten better at modifying them by now, if it turns out that's what your problem is.

I got them from PocketLogger. Bought one off their web site when I originally ordered the software/OBDII cable. Had troubles with it, and they sent me a new one that worked well for a few days. Got a connection with it, ran the test to maximize the log rate, and logged a few runs. It worked great; now its not working again. I need to start another trouble ticket and see if they'll replace it again. Third times the charm!

I'm a little late in replying to this, but what the heck. This might be useful.

I just got through emailing Mike at Digital Tuning about my Clie troubles. He was very responsive and helpful. I will be getting a new Clie HotSync cable that is supposed to work much better.

Seems that the old version was a cable that had to be modified to work. The new version requires no modifying of the wiring, and is supposed to work much better.

has anyone used the one provided on dsmparts.com with the clie. The parts guy from dsmparts said it will work but you have to switch some wires or something. I dont know what wires though.

I would guess that is the same type of cable that I am having trouble with. If I were you I would order one from the Pocketlogger site.

I have a Sony Clie sj33 and it wouldn't connect either. Mike from Digital Tuning told me that it wasn't compatible despite what it says on their site. The m100 is working fine however...
