Wow! That was quite scary. I installed the following:

small 16G
550 injectors
Walbro 190 FP
EGT gauge
FP gauge
Dejon UICP
Dejon Intake
S AFC LE
RNR O2 eliminator/3" exhaust

I fired it up the other night and it purred like a kitten. My friend and I took it out for a spin. The boost was set at 12 psi (as low as it would go) and we were off! Initially it would stall whenever it was in neutral. I fixed that by setting it -10 across the board with a little extra up top (+2). Down low it liked being at -15 but the EGT would spike to 1400 deg... which I have now learned is normal.

My friend took off so I wanted to try 15 PSI. Well, what a task that was! I am now all disconbobulated with the MBC settings and it would spike to ~20 PSI. Two runs of that and the J to L pipe coupling didn't like it and blew off. OMG So I limped her home and fixed that. I still can't get back to the setting I had before.

I did notice that there was carbon build-up around the SS tip on the muffler  I just ran a bead of high temp silicone on the inside so all should be good now.

I must say I like the spool. Not quite the "insta spool" the T25 had. Very smooth and linear.

The engine bay stinks! All the new piping and exahust smells rather weird.

Now for the tuning part. I want to tune it on the dyno. Is this a good way to go? I feel I am doing this blindly with just the EGT. I know everyone will say get a logger and I will be fine.. Would that be a better way of doing this or will a wide band O2 or whatever they use be just as good. The only thing I can't read that the logger can is the timing right?

A logger lets you read many, many things, and is an invaluble tuning tool. The combination of a logger and a wideband is by far the best you can do, but if you're only able to get your hands on one of the two, get a logger.
