Ok.....first things first. I used the search in several fields and still don't have a good enough answer. I want to(and will) make my own Egr blockoff plate for my 2g Talon. I know, since all '94 and up cars are California Emissions cars, It will give me a C.E.L. By going over both the 1g and the 2g manuals' I think the Light will be in respect to a code 43 <EGR> and mayby enen a code 11 <O2 sensor> and a code 12 <V.A.F. sensor>. I know I will get the 43, but I think the 11 and the 12 are a reach. My question is.....How will the ECU react to the new found errors. If I had to take a wild guess, I think the ecu would assume a faulty Egr and lean out the mix a little. Is this even remotly correct? If this is the only probel, a simpl AFC or a Translator will more than make up for the loss. if all that is too unaffordable, i guess you can just adjust the mas sensor and bring the mix back up.

I actually am gonna remove all the emission components except the charcole canister. I want to try to clean up the engine bay alot, and I want the cleaner air in my intake, not to mention eliminateing more vacume leaks. The whole process should take only 1 hr to remove evrythinh and tune it back up. Once i am finished I will put up the whole process form the making of the plate to the Tuning in a pdf format.
If this is a dumb ass noob idea, let me know before i break something else. Thanks in advance, and sorry for going on to long.
