Al Blaha MAS

is any one running an al balha mas....i just instaled one from turbo trix and i removed the flapper door and tried tuning my afc to hold a idle.....its hold a idle but a very low one and the idle is a lil choppy....any help will be useful

I added about 10% fuel at 1000rpm. THat was w/ 660s too.

I'm at 30% (Als recommendation) for 550s.

The whole point of the flapper is to help you idle...

Of course, you could have gotten yourself a 3" GM MAF and the translator for almost the same money as the Blaha MAF. 8)

I've heard too many horror stories about flapper doors falling off and meeting their maker in the turbo. Better off w/o it.

You're going to have to crank your AFC waaaaaaayy the heck up at the lowest RPM setting, probably to +50% if you're on stock injectors.

You're also going to need a LOT of positive correction across the board, although not as much as you need at idle.
