A Registry of Dsmlink Owners

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

All legitimate owners of DSMLink have access to the DSMLink email list Larry mentioned. If you bought it new from them, they will automatically put your name on the mailing list. If you bought it used from someone who bought it new from them, then you can get the person who bought it new from them to email the DSMLink guys and transfer the membership to you. This keeps the signal to noise ratio down on the list, and ensures that only the people who own legitimate DSMLink chips have access to all the list resources.

Most questions on there I have seen answered in a pretty quick time. Sure you could get a quicker answer on here, but it is even odds that the first 5 or 10 answers here are going to be from clueless newbs that don't even know what DSMLink is. The signal to noise ratio is much better there. Is it more important to get an answer 15 minutes quicker, or to get the correct answer?
I personally won't be offering much DSMLink advice on here, because leaving all of this DSMLink tuning help out in a public forum would in effect be giving the people who stole a copy of the chip, a user support base.

I agree with just going to the Yahoo DSM Link Group. The moderators always answer quick, & since they designed & built the system, they should know best. IMO.
