I need to buy Link, and I finally got around to pulling my ECU out of my car today on my lunch break to see if it is an EPROM or not.

Right away I noticed a bolt or two missing as I took the covers off, so I knew someone had been in there before. I was kind of hoping I would find Link already installed. As I pulled it out of the center console (giggity) I noticed a rebuilt sticker on it (rebuilt in 2007) which was good. I took it apart, and it's SUPER clean. Like almost new. :thumb:

Anyway, I'm here for a question, this is a non-socketed EPROM ECU right? So I just place my order with link and send them the ECU, right?

Thanks!

I ordered the chip and cable only when I bought mine I did the socket job myself it only cost my $6 for a socket. On the other hand I live outside the US so sending the ECU hasn't an option I just got lucky to have a car with EPROM ECU and had to learn the hard way hehe glad everything worked out fine!
Dsmlink is one of the best mods to put on a dsm!
