Well this was brought to my attention when I was looking to replace my MDP sensor. I was checking out eBay for prices and stumbled upon someone selling part number MD311994. Supposedly this is what they use on their 6 bolt swaps into a 2G bay, since this particular sensor can actually fit a vacuum hose onto it.
The problem with the usual 2G MDP sensors (MD305600) is you can't attach a hose to it without something like JB weld or running around with a check engine light on all the time
I kinda checked around here and Google but couldn't find much. I looked briefly along the lines of 'MDP sensor alternatives', etc but came up dry.
Has the same amount of wires, not 100% about the keyway, but I'd bet that's kosher as well. I looked up the part number MD311994 in my Mitsubishi ASA program and it reveals only a little tid bit. "SENSOR,ENG CONTROL BOOST"
I figure it should work, I don't believe that person would remedy their 6 bolt swap with this sensor and end up running around with the Check Engine light on all the time...I mean come on? His feedback is 100% @ 3000+!
Any thoughts people?
Go ahead, make my day
