how hard is it?? I took a quick glance at it yesterday and it looks like its pretty well up in there.. I gotta put in my Eprom now that I have it.. anything I should know before removing the ECU other then disco the battery?

It is really striaght forward. Remove the side covers and undo a couple of bolts and unplug and out it comes.

I believe (I have to look on the 2G again) unbolt the ECU and side it out toward the Passenger side.

Yeah take the bolts out then reach through and unhook all your power connectors, then it simply slides through the passenger side. Sometimes it's easier to get to the computer wiring harness through the center of the dash.

I'm not sure... I was putting in what little info I know in... I would say just see whatever you can of it... If the carpet is up on it take the carpet off and the center of the consol out (again I don't know if you have to full stereo system in your car or if there's the extra slot) then see if you can locate the bolts... The brackets should have little metal dog ears on them to help hold it in... Just look and see that's the best advice I got... sorry

damn what a pain in the butt that was.. hehe took me like 20 mins but I finally got the damned thing out and put my Eprom in.. 3 bolts and it has to come out the passenger side.. getting it out after the bolts were off was the biggest issue.. but alas it finally came out :)
