I had to get a new engine harness for my 97 GST (paid 30$) and removed it in 30 mins) and decided to also remove the ecu...I walked up to some dude and i was like here i want this he was like whats that? i said a seat warmer..he said go ahead n take it were closing...i got home and realized..its an EPROM!!!!

and heres my harness!!! It's a 95 or 96 TSi,will the harness work on mt gst? it didnt have a plug for the Cam position sensor.

Nice find on the EPROM; unfortunately the harness isn't the same on the '95-'96 as it is on the '97-'99 cars because of the cam sensor placement. Everything else is the same, however.

I think I can get rid of that harness for you if you're interested in selling it- my buddy with a '95 TSi AWD had an engine fire a while ago and has been looking for a good harness. PM me and I'll forward your info to him.

Damn I would go there and take alot more shit off that 2g then the wiring.

Yeah, strip that thing clean. You can make profit on most 2g parts, especially injectors, exhaust manifold, O2 housing, and transmission, among other things.

yeah tomorro after court im heading over there again they have 2 tsi's a gsx and a gst with some clean ass engine. i also found a mopar ecu for a 1g eclipse i forgot i left it inside the talon i was parting....im gonna jack it
