GreenBelt,
Well, since my gauges were stolen, I am in the market for new gauges. My question is how accurate is the s-afc at reading o2 voltage. I remember reading that the blue wire mod is a bad idea, when taped in to the ECU. but what if you connect the s-afc's blue wire to the under dash o2 wire commonly used for a pod mounted a/f gauge.

1) is the S-afc accurate enough to use for a/f monitoring

2) Can the blue wire from the safc be connected to the o2 wire that's under the passenger kick panel on a 1g?

The blue wire mod does work but is not accurate. The AFC is not bridged electricly for the O2 curcuit the way a guage is. ?I would'nt suggest doing it because as far as I know you have to switch back and forth from O2v to your AFC adjust and in my would just be to difficult. I would suggest getting one from Jumptronix or if you have a Pocketlogger use that one. But you really don't use it to much for tuning, except to get it at a good fuel trim. So you had your guages stolen?! That sucks what happened, did they brake your window, or rip the whole A-pillar out? That sucks man.
