So i'm building a 1g, its gonna be a trailer queen so i want to remove as much wiring out of the engine bay as possibly. I took the engine harness out and i know there a couple wires and pins i can remove out of there that i don't need. I'm running the Full Version of DSMLink and so im not worried about the check engine lights being on. I just wanna know what i can take out.

If you plan on modifying a harness, you better know what to take out and what not too. What I mean by this is that if you have enough confidence to modify a harness, you shouldn't have to ask anyone what can and can't be removed.

The only wiring I can really see being removed would be for the EGR. All other wiring that could be removed under the engine bay would be for the solenoid packs, ac, cruise control, a/c fuse/relay box, wiper motor, power steering pressure switch line, and most all of the vacuum lines. Most all of the other engine wiring just winds up getting added to or taken away from and ran under the intake and lower on the firewall to make it look more presentable.

Our engine bays clean up alot with a simple a/c , pwr steering, crusie delete and you could also relocate the alternator to the back of the block for a cleaner look. Also get a mini battery and you can eliminate the bulk in the corner of the engine bay and either mount it in the trunk or on the top of the subframe were the carbon canister usually sits.

Im with TimG on this one. I did this to my harness last season and its a bit of work, however I was using a different EMS then you. I removed a good amount from the harness, as well as added some things for extra sensors.
