General P0100 volume air flow code?

i jsut bought this 99 eclipse turbo and it runs like crap.. it has no power at wot... im getting a code that says mass air sensor or volume air flow.. i replaced the mas and still get the code with no changes...
 
If you can list your mods, or update your profile with something more than "lots"....that'll probably get you more help.

There are many reasons this can happen, let me know what you got done to the car, and we'll go from there.

One thing you can also check, because this has happened to me....did you drive in some heavy rain? If the sensor gets wet, it'll go hay-wire.

Also make sure you check your connections on the wire harness on the ECU. If someone has installed an AFC on the car and spliced the harness, that could be your problem.

The best way to check the system is to get the service manual, and trace the wiring diagram for that system. (In this case the MAS). Start with the obvious and go from there, trace the system back to the ECU. (wiring)

Also, if you can't boost the car at all, it could be a million things. List what you've got done with the car, and we'll go from there. :thumb:
