what all do i need to burn chips for my 95 tsi with eprom ecu !

yes i searched but only came up with some of the info i needed, i want to know if all i need to burn chips for my 95 tsi is to by a chip burner, chips and some type of program like tuner pro or some free program. any info would be great and can you reburn the chips or do you have to keep buying new ones if you want to change things. Thanks !

you need a chip burner, i use a willem programmer and it came with the software. If you buy a reflashable chip, you can use it over and over again. Moates.net has them for like $10 the last time I checked. They also carry an Ostrich eprom emulator that will allow you to tune on the fly. Its only $175. This, plus tunerpro RT, will give you something almost as good as DSMLink for half the cost....since you already have a laptop

I use the Evilscribe program, and also the willem eprom burner...
Last I checked Moates didnt have the chips anymore
( The AT29C256 ) I saw some on Argontechnology.com... It was like a 12pack of chips for 30 bucks.
