Whats the best "method" to tune with the old school knob style afc... I have 550cc's 16g greddy fmic.. EGT gauge jumptronix meter etc. etc... the car is "decently" tuned.. but not many options with the knob style afc.. should i basically just lean the car out till i hit around 900*C on a WOT run?? i WILL be upgraded to either the new AFC or DSM link.. but im gonna try and get one more track run in and i want the car to run right... any tips on tuning with the Old knob style afc or is it just worthless??? thanks

Its not worthless, but doesnt have the same stuff as the new afc. Also, you'll need a datalogger cuz you need to watch the timing along with the EGTs. Its probably harder to tune with just the 02 and EGT readings. With a datlogger, you can see where you need to lean or richen up a bit. DSMlink would be the best bet cuz it offers fuel, timing and datalogging.
