rochester,
instead of buying a whole new set of injectors, im goin to put an extra one or two in, ala high performance rotary style. i have a few questions, as im not a wiring expert....if i do put an extra injector in, can i splice a signal wire from one of the main injectors with out screwing up the OHMs/ resistence needed to make it function normally, since another injector does add more resistence. second, is it better to place them infront of the throttle plate or after? im planning on tuning with a SAFC just as i would with bigger injectors, so the extras will be on the same amount of time the normal ones are, all the time.

one of the advantages of port fuel injection is that each cylinder should get the same amount of fuel. if you add injectors upstream they might not add fuel to the cylinders equally.

the only place to install injectors before the throttle plate would probably be the elbow, which doesn't have much room. after the throttle there's the intake manifold, and by then you may as well just upgrade your main injectors.

it might be more feasible to add a single injector that would open at a certain boost level instead of adding 4 more to open with the stocks.

i was only going to add one or two, a spacer made to fit between the throttle body may be feasible. i would have them come on at a certain rpm with a VAFC so i can cut it back at that level as needed, not as boost comes on.
