HELP! Local Track wants $10/Gal for race gas

OK, so i just called the track I will be at on Friday, and they want like 10 bucks per gallon, actually they want $3 CDN per litre to be exact...
I need a simple, cheapish mixing method of doing it myself,
anyone know anything about it?

you can search alittle but here is your best options

1....toluene or xylene at any local paint store.....When i would run it i mix 3 gallons 93 with 1 galon toluene with 3oz of marvel mystery oil or automatic trans fluid,which lubricates...toluene is alittle less octance then the xylene...toluene is 115,and i think xylene is 117...1 gallon of one of these 2,and 3 gallons of 93 equal out to anywhere from 98-105 octane

2.....get alcohol meth injection...then you wont need race gas at all,or you could run the mix i mentioned above for total knock control on 25+ psi

In a recent issue of Sport Compact Car, they did some testing of different octane boosters. They got a chemical analysis of each one done. The racing version of the NOS octane booster ended up be only slightly behind toluene in price per octane points gained. I have no personal experience with the stuff though, but I'd definitely consider it based on that article.
