Richmond hill,
My buddie has a 95 awd talon and i have a 98 awd talon... Hes willing too swap ecus with me. My question is will my ecu work in this car? and do i have too rewire anything too do so? or is it 100% compatible? and how could i cheak too make sure he dose have an eprom?

I know the firing order needs too be changed.... anything elese? is there a size difference?

I'm sure there is a thread, but swap the first two with the next two. Ie 4321 to 2143

thanks, sorry i was in a hurry i did`nt check for any other threads. One last question is there a size difference between the two ecus? i`m guessing not but just double checking
thanks guys/gals

Size difference? No.. you wouldn't know the difference if they were mixed up. Identical except for the serial numbers.

Since he has an internal 95 style CAS, and i have 98 withch has a external cas. Will have have any effect when i swap my ecu in his 95

Just swap around both the plug wires AND the fuel injector plugs (1&2, 3&4). The firing order is different for both. If you do just the plug wires, it will run but it won't 'feel right' when cruising since the fuel is being injected at the wrong times -- it'll feel like there is extra load on the engine (will read less vacuum too). If you get a keydiver chip with the cas inversion, then do not swap the injector plugins.
