Holley Injectors.......again

hey guys,

I pretty new to this site.....so I hope that asking a question to a previous post doesn't piss any people off (unlike other forums Im apart of).....anyways I used the search button and found one post bout holley injectors..to see how well they work on 1g's but no one really went into anydetail on how difficult they were to install... I too work at a parts house were I can get 660's for 250 bucks(like the previous thread).... so I Was wondering how difficult it would be to install them. I'd really appreciate the help. thanks

I dont know holley sell 660s. I know they have 65lb injectors tho.

my buddy has the 65 lbs on his 1g auto with a t3/t4 no it. he didn't mention anything special about the install, but i'll make sure and double check with him on that.

65lbs is pretty darn close to 660cc. but anyhoo , you hear anything from your buddy bout the install? I can get them for bout 290 for folks if anyone is interested

65lb is 680cc. Do you have pictures of the injectors or where on the web that I can see them?

buddy if mine has holley injectors on his 1g, he had to put them on a lathe and turn them down a bit on the end to make them fit. i don't know any specifics though.

We used the 96lb/hr MSD/Holley injectors on Polk's green FWD. We doubled up the stock o-ring at the top (two together) and used stock gasket ring on the head. Make sure you get brand new gaskets and you shouldn't have a problem. The injectors are ~.25" taller than stock too, so the rail has to stick up a little higher. We got new, longer bolts and just didn't crank the thing down ultra tight. It doesn't sit down on the head now, but that's fine. It's secured w/ the bolts.
