I have a 14b, spearco fmic and 2.5 piping, gm maft 2.01 in blow through, 3" exhaust, 680cc injectors (set to 680cc on translator), and all other supporting mods. I ran a 12.95 on pump gas this summer in 65 degree weather. It got a little colder out last night (high 40's), and I was running 20psi. I hit 112% duty cycle and hit fuel cut twice during a 3rd gear pull. My maft is tuned in pretty nice - getting 0-7 knock counts on 93 octance @ 20psi. I want to go to the track one more time (in 2 weeks) but it will be pointless if I'm going to cut out. Does anyone have any suggestions for me (besides larger injectors - which I don't need on a 14b) I know I can piss with the translator and tell my ecu I have larger injectors than I really do in order to lower d/c, but I need another option. I know this dense air is going to raise d/c as well (last winter I went over 130% d/c on stock fuel setup running 15psi) Thanks for any ideas.

Can you turn up your fuel pressure a bit to compensate for the high D/C? You may need to tune the entire powerband again then though, and it may get rid of the FC.

ok. d/c actually hit 115% last night, and I don't know why. Looking at the log and it looks like richard pryor w/ a crackpipe. it's colder tonight and I logged a couple runs. Base fuel is 38psi, timing at idle is 8-9* (is that my base timing?) d/c hit 88% w/ high trim zeroed - timing made it to 21 degrees at 6500 in 3rd gear w/ 13-15 counts of knock. I upped my high fuel trim to 1, and knock counts went down to 10, everything else was the same except d/c went up to 92%. I guess the +110% d/c was a fluke. Fuel trims are 139 low, 139 mid, and 120 high. No matter how many clicks I give the mid, it stays maxed out, and it gets to the point where it will DUMP gas as soon as it builds boost, and it will not build boost. I spoke to Nate at slowboy a while back about my mids, and he said don't worry about it, just get the knock out of there and make sure it builds boost. I hit 20psi around 3500, so it seems fine I guess. Anyone else experience problems trying to adjust their trims? I've read you want them to be near 100 for high and mid, and it doesn't make a lot of sense to me why I can't tune it out. I don't just fly in there and start clicking around either, I know the ecu has to adjust trims and what not. I want dsmlink so I can take better control of this stuff. Also is my base timing my timing at idle, or is a light the only way I will get a proper reading?

my boost bleeds slightly, so it's not a steady 20psi. I just logged 6 runs, and it's really cold out. If I add a little fuel via mid and high knobs, I can get knock to go away, but I get stuttering in high r's (mini fuel cut - 109% d/c) As soon as I take out the high fuel (from 2 to 1 on hft knob) I get loads of knock (15-17 counts) My timing sucks dilsnick right now, when knocking it's 19 degrees tops, and 25 w/o knock. Is my base timing at idle what my logger is telling me? (8-9 degrees) Someone help me out, as I don't have access to a light right now. Is my logger accurate enough?
