what ever anyone does do not go to mario i had a horrible experience with him i had purchased a 2.3 stroker 6 bolt. i got it off him right away i heard a ticking noise coming from it he assumed it was just a bad set of lifters so of course i bought them I had to pay wasnt it. then he pulled the pan a rod bearing was bad he only replaced them once again i had to purchase them then once again i took it back to him to get evertything figured out he took it apart again and took to machine shop i had to pay for the crank to get redone on it plus purchase bearings again for it he was claiming that the fidanza clutch had caused the problem with the thrust bearings which i had taken to several mechanics and they said it was starvation of oil and that he didnt plastigauge any of the tolerences. after he put it back together again no noises but had a stripped exhaust manifold stud main water line wasnt bolted down and a coolant line held on by a zip tie so just a warning to anyone who lives near washington pa or thinking of using this guy i advise you not to unless u want to spend 6k like i have to get a motor together and 5 months to spare

That's funny. I've never had a problem with anything Mario's done for me? My 2.3L has been running strong for over 10,000 miles now, and it's been abused for most of them. I'm sure you just had a bad experience or perhaps rubbed him the wrong way, as most people will vouch for him and his work. The guy definitely knows what he's doing and has always been available for questions/concerns/troubleshooting pretty much any time of the day. Now that I think of it, I think i've seen that car. Are you the guy that bolted your internal wastegate bolted to the coolant line?

Agreed. the waste needs cooling too? Crap time for some more water lines

Well i just took the head off my car last night to install a new one. To my surprise i found stock pistons. Is there any possible way to use these in a stroker build? I dont know if either of the two of you are ready for a TB or water pump change but i would check to make sure that you didnt get screwed over such as i have.

i agree he does know what he is doing he is quick with his work. But i cant ask him a thing he has blocked my number from calling him. Any ideas on that one?
