In need of some help with my 1991 Eagle Talon....willing to pay!

Well, after I started this semster at school, I realize, I do not have the time to fix my car. It is a 1991 Eagle Talon w/ 6 Bolt AWD.

Right now, I am unsure of what is wrong with it and could use some help from people that know the car thoroughly. I would be willing to pay for your time and help.

The car and me are both living in Wayne, NJ and have ample room to work in (I have a cul de sac).

If you need some extra cash, send me a pm or gimme a call at 973-900-0981.

Thanks!
Alan

Well the car turns over and there is spark but still no go. There was a problem with the fuel line that it rusted out but I replaced it along with the fuel pump (had a spare walbro from my supra lying around).

I can hear the pump turn on....there is pressure in the line but still nothing.

I basically need someone that knows 6 bolts in and out to come look at the motor. Might be fuel injectors....might be timing....i am not sure but I know I don't have to the time to sit around trying to figure this out.

I would be more than willing to lend a hand wrenching on things but its just that I don't know DSMs that well to be good on my own.

EDIT: This is a cul de sac

A culdesac is also known as a cove around these parts. The end of the street looks exactly like the picture Alan posted. Cul de sac generally translates into dead end road. I believe it's french.

UPDATE

The shop I took the car too told me he thinks the timing belt jumped a notch. He is going to check to see if the valve is bent tomorrow.

Does anyone have the tools and knowledge to reset the timing on the motor and replace a valve?

Thanks
Alan

He'll most likely do a compression test and/or leak down test. If you have a valve that is toast, you will at a minimum have to remove the head and get it removed&replaced (the valve and any other necessary work).

What kind of fuel pressure regulator is on your DSM? If it's stock, then it could be getting overrun by the bigger fuel pump, thus flooding it out.

Interesting because I do have a stock fuel pressure regulator....should I toss a stock pump in there to see if that fixes the problem?

I will have to see if I have one.
