New here - live in NJ - Wondering who to go for some mods/tune
I just bought a 2g GSX with a 6 bolt swap, 16g, and some other goodies. Need to have it tuned (Probably Ivey, or turbotrix ... yes?) opinions on both would be appreciated. I will be tuning with a SAFC.
I could also use a place that can do some misc. work - I want to add a turbo spoiler cause its been shaved on this one, anyone recommend anyone, or do stuff like this on the side? or if ^^ they do it

Stay away from turbo trix. I've heard horror stories about the way they tune. I would reccommend Ivey. Or get blackspoolin over here to help you tune your car.

Dont even bother paying to get tuned with an SAFC. Do it yourself or get a friend that knows what they are doing to help you with it.

personally I would go with Sean (ivey), turbo trix is great, bean really knows what he is doing, but they can be a bit pricey

i would take it to ivey to get tuned and take it to dogbox for work. ivey is the best tuner in the area and dogbox is the best for getting work done, they are cool as hell and best pricing around.

Are you affiliated with Dogbox? I don't know if they remember me (they had my talon for about 2 weeks last year), but they definitely are GREAT guys to work with.

Yes, the car is with me I would offer to help, but can't take any more cars in for the time being. I will let you know if I can at least do a tune when you're ready though!

Turbotrix is a hit or miss. Sometimes they do great work, sometimes they screw up.
Ivey is good but I doubt he will tune the SAFC. I believe he only tunes AEM, Motec, Autronic and EcuTek. I emailed him about tuning DsmLink and he said he won't do it.
