Hmm, 10.5 to Ohio......lol.
Looks like its gonna be some nice weather. I'll be there with the turbo. No expectations, just a shakedown day.

, I know, but I was using vacation time and it was worth it.
This event I'd have to wake up early, drive the car 4 hours, race, drive home 4 hours and work the next day. Not really what I want to do.
Oh well. I haven't done anything to it to make it quicker anyways, so I'm not motiviated to beat on it. I have a few things here to install and run on CCDSM drag day, but that's it for this year I think. GL with the trubo

I don't know if I'm coming anymore. Friends want to get a welder this weekend and we're all chipping in. Also I might be picking up another DSM...it seems like I might have my hands full.

Make sure you get either a mig with gas (don't buy a gasless!) or something nicer. Don't be like me and regret getting a gassless mig!

Well, after reading the classes ( Old Bridge Township Raceway Park), I'm probably not going to head down They got one class for all Mitsu's vs Subie's. That's it. So not only would I be rolling against the 9 and 10 second cars (though that's not too bad. bracket racing) I can't imagine getting too many pre-race runs in because that class is basically all the 1g's, 2g's etc. Pretty crappy, IMO.
No offense meant, Corey, but the Evo's don't really do all that much for me. So going down to see them, really doesn't appeal to me. I can T n T at my "local" track (2 hours away) for a whole lot cheaper.
Crappy deal .

None taken, Englishtown is expensive (moreso on mitsu day) and on a day like that you usually don't get more than a couple runs in. I'd rather try to get a meet together at island where it's cheaper and you get more than 3 runs. I hope you at least have plans to make some passes with the turbo soon. Are you expecting to get it redyno'd or just take it out to the track with the current tune and a water pump pulley

Right now, I plan on taking her to LVD on this Wednesday night Test and Tune. Same tune and let her go. Gotta figure the tune is good for around 360ish (Matt left everything a little rich also) and without an LSD in there (I got diff tab savers) or any kind of stutter set-up, it won't matter that much if I have a couple hundred more to the wheels, lol. Just a little shake down cruise. Maybe check out trap speed and speed shifts. You know, see if the pulleys stay on etc. lol.

I was there today but didn't run the turnout was not all that great more cars in the parking lot than racing!!!!!!!! a lot of untuned evo's running terrible and a lot of braking no real classes for for 1g and 2g cars, just bracket, and stock appearing. not really worth it to go, the only good thing was a few fast evo's (sean ivey 9.5 @ 155) and another one that went 9.0 @ 1??. the meet @ ridley creek was better than today only no racing!!
