I'm looking for good main bearings to put a 4g64 crank in my 4g63. anyone know off hand the size difference or will ones for a 4g64 direct fit into the 4g63?

Bearing sizes are the same for 7 bolt 4G63 and 7 bolt 4G64.

However with more torque from the same bearing area the bearing loading will be higher for the stroker. Consider Tri-Metal main bearings such as the ACL race series.

could I just put stronger than stock mains for the 4g64 crank and they'd fit in the 4g63 block?

Yes. Just stay on the reservation and use only aftermarket parts that other tuners on this site have used and reported success with until you are thoroughly expert.

For example my new Eagle 100mm stroke crank spins on ACL mains in my 7 bolt block that was seasoned for 183,000 miles before the stroker conversion.
