650whp Track/STreet 2.3 vs 2.0
I know that this has been beat to death but I have a very specific goal and two major factors that I'm curious people that have strokers with big output turbos what you experience.
My turbo is set in stone for the first setup but I may go bigger. I plan on running a hx40 w/ 18.5cm houisng from looking around it's like a 1.04-1.14 sized t3 divided housing. I plan on running a punsihment racing divided housing. Cams something along the lines of either fp2x or 3x. Transmission will be a race spec dogbox(NJ based) trans with welded center diff.
I want a setup that will support 650whp and be able to be driven on the street but it will be mostly a track drag car. It's not a dd and never will be. It's going in a gutted awd 90 tsi with a cage. My main thing is what will make a better overall setup a stroker or a good built 2.0. Either way I"ll be going manley I beam rods and Weisco pistons just a matter of stroker or not. Not looking for the basic why a stroker is better or why a 2.0 is better I know those thing slooking for experience from members that have used or used both to see which performs better with big but not gt42r crazy sized turbos on and off the track.
