Which oil feedline for 2.3 stroker??

If i read it right, didnt he have trouble spooling his 2.3 because he didnt have that oil feedline.

Yes, high oil pressure in the CHRA can cause "binding", which will slow the shaft.

Andy's issue had nothing to due with the fact that his car had a 2.3L. And his situation doesn't even closely pertain to yours because his turbo (my old turbo) was journal bearing, not ball bearing.

Feed from the head and filter it, and you'll be fine.
 
Just for the record, the spool on the car is still sub-par for a stroker engine--it's about the same as what most 2.0's are getting. I think the issue is with the cams. Perhaps they're just slightly off, but the fact that it has the intake cam advanced a full tooth to even get to a 2.0's spool is just furthering my suspicions.

In short, the high oil pressure theory isn't what is mainly responsible for the spool IMO. The restrictor does keep the oil pressure at a nice level though (thanks to Paul).
