Hey everybody, i´m lookin for anybody that goes to any UTI campus. I´m planning on gettin´there, but i really don´t know how hard it would be. If anyone is or was attending as a student or is a graduate from UTI, i would appreciate any feedback you can give me. Is it hard to be accepted there?
Also, is there anybody in this forum from avondale, i have no clue about car meetings there.

thanks in advance

I lived in Avondale for about 8 months, abouty 3 miles from the campus while I was attending. Not much of a car scene in Avondale. There are monthly DSM meets north of Avondale, off the 101. Not too bad of a drive. As far as being accepted if youre talking about going to UTI, they'll scoop up any nitwit, and it's not hard to get through. There was a student 3 weeks from graduating, and was accepted to Jaguar...still struggling with 'righty-tighty, lefty-loosy, and this is a direct quote "If thats the exhaust manifold....where's the turbo" whilst walking around to the other side of the engine.

Take automotive, screw diesel.

I think the only requirement was highschool diploma or ged even. pretty easy to get in. i went to UTI when it was at the old campus and got switched over to the new campus in avondale halfway through. i was one of the first in the new building!

Im actually going to that wonderfull school (sarcasm) right now if you need help or whatever it is you need just pm me with your number and ill see if i can help you out. I live like 5 minutes away from the school on Avondale Blvd.

haha, come on man! is it THAT bad?
i thought it was a good school to go to.
i´m moving all the way from Chihuahua, Mexico to go there!
Also, i have no family there, so i think it will be pretty hard to get used to.
Thanks for your feedback of the school, keep it comin´, i wanna see what i´m gettin into.
are the rates for apartments high over there?
Feel free to post your opinion or PM me, thanks again.

OMG damm thats a far move. Im in Yuma, az about 3hrs from the phx area. I got a couple friends going to UTI and others that are going next year. I my self might be moving to phx area or around there within a year. Im going to ASU into Administration of Justice thing. Good Luck.

Also, if anybody knows about apartments near the campus, and the rates n´all that stuff, please PM me, me and a friend of mine need a nice place to stay in a tight budget (not too tight)...(you know...not too expensive, nor a trash can)
Thanks

Everywhere is going to bend you over for an apt. I recommend finding some guys with an open room in a house. I pay 350 a month no utilities. I live up in Surprise but I'm right off the 303 so it's only 15-20 to school in the morning. Basically you go there so you can get the name UTI on your resume. I came with my G/F not really planning on going to school but I couldn't get a job here because my degree from the community college I went to wasn't credable. 10 months later and UBER SOP pins later places are finally looking at me even though I have learned dick over my last school. And as far as the MSAT goes. JOKEEEEEEEE. BMW will pay you up to $14 Flat Rate!!!!!!!!!!! I work at a Mazda dealership PART TIME and make $16.25 flat rate and I'm only part time. There is money to be made but they blow dealer programs WAY out of proportion.
