Hey guys! As the title says I need to pass that damn thing in order to get plates for my newly acquired car. I got an '89 turbo Colt from a wrecking yard a couple of weeks ago and now it is a PITA to process the papers. I 've been wanting that car for quite a long time but they are getting pretty scarce and I can't just go to other state to pick one up which limited the options even further. Anyway.
If anybody knows the procedure itself, please clarify it for me since I don't even know what exactly is involved. Does the car need to be driveable or it will suffice to just tow it there and turn the lights on and step on the brakes? And if anybody has any particular place in mind, let me know as well. I thought it was gonna be done at a DMV or CHP but when I paid the fees they told me that I 'll have to find a shop 'out there' to do it. Thanks.
P.S. You can shoot me a PM if you prefer so.

When I saw it at a yard first time it was almost complete but it took me a few days to really make up my mind. By that time the top of the motor was gone as well as some of the interior.
WTF' factor when you peel out in third on drag radials.
