ok well as I stated in http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=92200

if u read the end of it. i thought it might be the turbo finally dying. but this morning after the snow and ice finally cleared up I went out to check for shaft play in the turbo and the turbine wheel spins alright, and it doesnt move up and down or left and right at all.

I've duct taped all the connections on my IC pipes (except the one by the wheel well) and they're all very tight.

I swear I hear a leak on the intake manifold, but I cant see or find it.

If someone could pls send me pics of a t25 i'll compare what mine looks like to it. and if someone could show me a pic of all the possible places there could be a boost leak I'd be a very happy semi newb, and I could get to workn on it instead of guessing w/o the propper equipment.

Thanks guys...

build a leak tester , go to vfaq.com and check it out. Pressurize your car while its off using the leak tester and listen for leaks n shit. i bet you will find one. Does the car jerk bad once u hit a certain psi always?

mine wouldnt boost past 5 psi , and if it did it would jerk hella bad, i found out i had a cracked IC pipe =)

actually I got some of the tape I duct taped the ic pipes with somehow flapping in the ic pipe affected it THAT much. I took off the tape and saw oil all over this one part of it that must have (only god knows how) gotten into the pipe (but not any further). and now Im boosting back to normal again, but my leak is the connection from my bov to the ic pipe, its a piece of sh* and cant handle more than 5psi I suppose. I have to retighten that part over and over again to keep it from leaking, somehow it gets untightened. and btw somehow Im getting oil in my air intake pipes. yet I hvae no oil lines connected to my air intake anymore.

and Im not sure about the TB seals. how can you tell if they're bad? they were perfectly straight and looked fine. I have this one piece of one of the two seals sticking up at the top (closest towards the closed off vacume lines) I wasnt sure if thats how it went on or what. I wish i could take some pics and show ya but i cant :-\ im gonna try to find me a cam.

-Might consider investing in some better quality hose clamps or "T" bolt clamps, also rev the motor with the throttle cable then watch the IC pipe to see if the motor is moving the IC pipe too much causing it to come loose over time, check into a hump hose connector.

-Check your PCV valve, the vent hose on the valve cover goes to the intake pipe.

how can I check it? I bought it brand new back in july/august.

and that vent hose on the valve cover i have a hose just leading to the ground instead of air intake hose.

and what is a hump hose connector?

I tried duct taping them togeather but that didnt seem to make a difference instead some of the tape got into the hose somehow and (thank god not in the intake or engine) and screwed me up.

thank god I am trying this custom piping out and following the instructions I found here. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=57364&highlight=make+hard+pipe

i am wondering just how well it will work. :-\ then I gotta go to RRE and buy the lower piping for 55$

Jesus, get the goddamned duct tape out of there and throw it away. Do a pressure test:

http://vfaq.com/mods/ICtester.html

LOL i did that yesterday, and once I can get back to my hometown (which is 6 hours away) after vacation, then i'll be able to do that pressure test.

I saw no one suggested looking at the intercooler. Perhaps a rock put a small hole in it. I don't think it is a fuel related problem, but you might aswell replace the fuel filter for kicks.

im sure its on vfaq somewhere but its the holidays and ive been too busy to look on how to change a fuel filter. and we've pretty much narrowed it down to the oh so shitty stock ic piping. i wish i could smack those [persons possibly of Pacific Rim heritage, and/or others] for using rubber ic pipes on a turbo powered car. :D *harsh language is great for venting* I'll be getting metal piping made soon when I get back home neways.
