What's with the gap between the hood and bumper?

i hear ya.... i gotta little gap... i called the manuf. but they said tuff.. i'll work on it one day... It was prob a mess up in the mold... sux...

I like it, but I do have to admit, I liked it better before. I think it was "meaner" looking when it had the other front end on it.

i always thought the blitz front looked nice, except they're on A LOT of eclipses. looks nice though, except for that gap. and it definitely needs some sideskirts.

i too am a fan of it before. i say throw some spare mesh in that gap for now.

You shouldve just did the 97-99 conversion, i am just not one for aftermarket body kits. But its your car and as long as you like it

I like it, but man I would #@%#@%#@%#@%#@% and moan about that gap. You should of saw that right away. Anyway, good start, paint the handles and get sides and your set. Im getting a new front end for next year, the blitz is cool but played out

That front grill looks so out of place on that bumper, maybe if it was a black grille? Dunno, but that gap is messed up.

i think it looks pretty good, it just looks kinda odd without the blitz skirts, the blitz front end is lower than stock so they look kinda out of place. IMO the blitz skirts are the best part of the kit. the grille looks like its angled forward, could be just me but it looks wierd.

other than that it looks pretty good, i kinda like the little gap, if you do decide to keep that you should def look into making some sort of ram air.

The grille sticks out a bit because he was smart and kept the bumper reinforcement so in the future when he has an FMIC a 5mph crash won't ruin it. Will also keep the engine out of his lap in a real collision. I did the same....all you gotta do man is bend it so that it has a sharp angle where it comes off the reinforcement and heads south. It will eliminate any "weird" look and the bend actually flows well with the fangs on the kit. My blitz from Aerogear seems a lot lower though...I'm lowered about the amount you are and I have exactly 4" to the ground from the bottom of my bumper on a flat surface. I am thinking about getting the Bomex sides to complete my kit but I dunno...still undecided. Looks good though bro, hit me up on AIM if you see me on.

I'll have to join the bandwagon and say it did look better before (not that it looks bad now). IMO your car was perfect the way you had it.... and don't take this the wrong way, but the front end reminds me of a J-spec Integra type R front end with that gap (You need to have someone by the balls for that bro). Car is still sick though!

if i were u, id put a small grille in that gap sorta like the S14 (not that u wanna look anything like a nissan).

im confused he says he has a gst but only r come without side skirts and unpainted door handles does he have another dsm
