just pull really hard...but watch out for your ass it hurts when it breaks and you fall. That's what I had to do, you don't really need that bolt.

, i have to laugh at that one, i am at that point to where i'm about to just say "f@#$ it!" and start breaking sh*t but i'm worried that by breaking it off there that it will break the lense as well, or is it not close enough to it to cause any damage??? thanks

haha honestly, I just said F*** it! and yanked them out with out any problems. Off the top of my head I can't remember how close they are to the lenses or if there is any possibility of breaking them....someone else is going to have to jump in with that answer. You could also try sticking something like a flat-head screw driver in there then hit the plastic thing in half. I did that somewhere else on my car....I think we have about 2 million extra nuts and bolts that really don't need to be there.....good luck

There is a way to get them off. There are four 14MM bolts under the frame of the car. Two on each side, if you take them out then the whole front bumper assembly will come off and you will be able to do whatever you want with the headlights. It might make the FMIC install easier as well.

You don't have to take out your headlights to get the front bumper off.
Remove you mud guards, 2bolts holding the side of the bumper to the fender. Pull the side of the fender down so you have a big as you can gap between teh bumper and fender. Now look just below teh headlight where you will see that fourth bolt. Take it out. Or if you look right below the headlight you will see two big plastic plugs that hold the bumper to metal frame, these plugs you have to break off with big ass screwdriver or pry bar ( you won't need them) once they are gone remove the rest of teh bolts holding the bumper and off it comes headlights still intacted.

That would be all fine and dandy if i could even reach the inner two plastic screws under the headlights....

Are you talking about the ones that are a little recessed in facing totally downward (vertical)? Will they really release the whole assembly? what do they screw into that allows this???? If so that would be great. Anyone else to confirm this?

Ok, well i got the bumper off, my issue now is that the lower bolt (10mm) that is suppose to be used for one of the IC brackets for mounting is tack welded to the thin peice of metal frame that the power steering line is bracketed to. Any ideas on removing it? its already a little stripped, anyway to break the weld and remove it? thanks.

2 brackets under the headlights and back about 8 to 10 inches the bolts themselves are in the frame but once you find them you will know what I am talking about. You have to jack your car to get them out or elese I would take pics for you.
