I know I'm getting it all but my car wont fire. It just keeps cranking and cranking. firing order is 4123 on the coil pack from left to right when looking at it. Ive tried flipping the CAS 180 degrees about 100 times so that's not it...any other options on what it could be ill try too
Its a 90 laser what Is working on

check for spark, fuel, make sure your sensors are all intact, and if you can hook it up to a scanner.

When you to section II you need to verify that your ECU is running before going farther.

When you turn the ignition switch on the Check Engine Light should turn on of about 5 seconds and then go off. At the same time on turbo cars the factory boost gauge should go to zero and stay there until you start cranking the car. On ECUs with a TMO, DSMChip or one of my chips the gauge will move to the current selection setting rather than 0. At this point you should be seeing a heartbeat (repeating on/off or an error code at the DLC pin 1 or be able to communicate with the ECU using a logger.

If the ECU doesn't boot up your not going to get a spark or injector activity and the car isn't going to start.

Check the MPI (MFI) and Ignition fuses and if good pull the ECU for inspection.

I pointed you to a whole list of things that have helped people solve no-starts before.
You have to actually check them and work the list or we are just playing 20 questions.

I've looked at this thread several times and I can't see where you ever reported compression numbers.

I hope you figure it out.

OK it was a runner so that means it had spark and fuel before the timing went off and the valves kissed.

It sounds like you messed up on the cam timing. The odds are when you put it back togther you reversed the inner belt guide. (not good for timing).

Pull #1 spark plug and insert a long rod (like 1/4" extension 12 "long) and rotate the engine by hand until the piston is at TDC at that point the cam timing marks should eather be pointing right at themselvs or be 180 degrees out. Any where else the cam timing is screwed up.

Man just try what I said in post #15. If I am wrong you have lost all of 15min. of your life.

If I am right you found your problem.

Two wires not plugged in? The two wires going to the oil filter housing are for the oil pressure gauge and the oil pressure light on the dash; I wouldn't say they exactly plug in, but they do connect. They should have no effect on whether or not your car runs.
Of course I'm guessing at what two wires you are talking about, a picture might help.

Take it to the basics. check your fuel, spark then timing.
This is assuming your car is atleast cranking
If those three are ok come back and let us know.
Also what is it doing not cranking, cranking slow, cranking fast what???

Pic is property of BUCK. I hope he doesn't mind I use it.

But the stock set up is something like that - with oil cooler; if you don't have an oil cooler, disregard the big black hoses. I see now the 'connection' you are talking about. My wires got shredded by a failed power steering belt, so I had to put different connections on them and forgot about how it should be. Hope this helps.
