would it be possible to make headlights like the 300zx

by the way. the lights are just photoshopped into my clay mold thats why the edges around the ligths look wierd.

response to ryan2987: yes 300zx style lights will be available. but I am working on the design you see in the pic. we discuss 300zx lights in the other thread so read that one it will probaly answer most of your questions but feel free to ask me anything that hasnt been asked yet!!

I was telling my friend he should check into that. I had an idea tho. remove the pop-up headlights. Then build a stainless steel or whatever material wall/box against the hood, then have 2 lights in there. Bolt or rivet some plexiglass over it and seal it with silicone. I think this would give more like a 300zx look. also very similar to the street weapon mr-2 conversion.

using some sort of sealant would work but it would be hard to repaint the housing or clean it of any water or get some ventalation for the hot lights and overall it would just make things more difficult in the long run

they will cost somewhere around $300

I sanded and smooved it out for about an hour and got rid of the excess clay and it is startign ot look better! for some wierd reason it squished a little in the pic but it doesnt look squished in realy life. as you can see it cracked while drying. I will have to fic that hopefully tonight. grrr I hate school! I could have this finished in a week but I got school!! arrgg..anyhoo.. here is teh pic

any news if the lights are finished yet?

well I got some big news... i made a mold with my new design and now I have to make sure its ABSOLUTELY perfectly smoooooth before I try to make a positive copy out of it. with the new design it will allow me to get the lights into production much faster. I borrowed a dig cam so I can take a pic sometime this week of the new design. The major obstacle in this project is time time time! I don't know if you guys knew this but I am 17 and still in High school and we have regents exams just about every day for the last week of Jan and I am studying like crazy because if I don't pass them I am majorly screwed. well I am gonna go work on the lights now so peace out till tomorrow.

I got regents exams all week at the end of the month so I havent had practicaly any time to work on finishign my new mold lately. beginning of feb and I will be moving much faster
